Business Development Executive – Inspection & Certification

About the role

We are seeking a Business Development Executive – Inspection & Certification to develop new business opportunities for third‑party inspection, certification, and related compliance services across industrial and commercial sectors in the UAE.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities for third‑party inspection, certification, and related compliance services.
• Identify and approach prospective clients across construction, oil & gas, manufacturing, engineering, logistics, facilities management, marine, and other industrial sectors.
• Generate new clients through cold calling, networking, referrals, site visits, and market research.
• Understand customers' inspection and certification requirements and recommend appropriate services.
• Promote the company's inspection and certification capabilities to new and existing clients.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, and commercial offers and follow up with clients through to closure.
• Build relationships with HSE, QA/QC, Operations, Engineering, Procurement, Facilities, and Project departments.
• Coordinate with inspectors, engineers, and internal technical teams to arrange inspections and certification services.
• Develop repeat business and annual/periodic inspection contracts with existing clients.
• Maintain an active pipeline and report on enquiries, quotations, client meetings, and sales conversions.
• Monitor market requirements, upcoming projects, and competitor activities to identify potential business opportunities.

Required profile

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant business development/sales experience within inspection, certification, testing, or the wider TIC industry.
• Strong preference for candidates who have previously sold third‑party inspection and certification services.
• Good knowledge of the UAE industrial, construction, and engineering market.
• Understanding of lifting equipment, industrial inspection, certification, QA/QC, or related compliance services is highly advantageous.
• Proven ability to generate new accounts and build relationships with technical and commercial decision‑makers.
• Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and client relationship management skills.
• Ability to understand technical requirements and coordinate with inspectors and engineering teams.
• UAE market experience is preferred.
