About the role
The Business Development Officer will drive personal loan sales within the Retail Banking Group, focusing on achieving monthly KPIs and delivering high‑quality customer service. The role combines outbound telesales, relationship management and loan fulfillment to generate revenue and expand the bank's personal loan portfolio.
Key responsibilities
- Achieve monthly revenue targets through personal loan sales and fulfillment.
- Generate new business by cross‑selling to existing customers and acquiring fresh leads.
- Manage assigned leads in the CRM system, ensuring timely follow‑up and adherence to agreed turnaround times.
- Maintain service standards, monitor performance metrics and implement improvements for productivity.
- Ensure compliance with bank policies and control requirements while delivering risk‑adjusted loan propositions.
Required profile
- Diploma or high‑school qualification.
- 1–2 years of relevant experience in personal banking, relationship management, tele‑sales or related services.
- Strong analytical and logical thinking abilities.
- Good market knowledge and understanding of personal banking products.
Required skills
- Proficiency with CRM systems for lead management.
