Business Development Specialist – MENA & India

About the role

Citrosuco is looking for a Business Development Specialist to support market development and customer coordination across the Middle East, North Africa (MENA) region and India. The role focuses on non‑binding liaison, promotional activities and market intelligence, reporting to the Revenue General Manager and requiring extensive travel.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market monitoring and produce regional business intelligence reports.
• Identify potential customers and market opportunities for evaluation by regional management.
• Support regional market visibility initiatives and gather industry trend data.
• Act as a liaison between customers, distributors and the company’s commercial management team.
• Coordinate customer introductions, informational meetings and follow‑up communications.
• Participate in trade shows, exhibitions and industry conferences.
• Prepare market summaries, presentations and opportunity reports.
• Maintain CRM records of customer interactions and market developments.
• Facilitate internal communication between customers and company departments.
• Provide non‑binding recommendations and market observations for management review.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Business, Marketing or a related field.
• Previous experience in customer coordination, market development support or regional commercial support.
• Experience in food and beverage markets is preferred.
• Experience working in multicultural and international environments.

Required skills

• Fluent English (mandatory); Hindi and/or Arabic are a plus.
• Strong coordination and communication capabilities.

• Ability to operate within multinational matrix organisations.
• Organisational and relationship‑support skills.
