Business Development Specialist

About the role

The Business Development Specialist is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The role focuses on identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, generating leads, and expanding MESOFT’s presence in logistics, shipping and trading sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market research and qualify prospects across target industries.
• Prepare proposals and coordinate with technical and sales teams to design tailored solutions.
• Engage potential and existing clients through meetings, presentations and follow‑ups.
• Ensure high‑quality customer service and build long‑term relationships.
• Track sales activities and maintain accurate records in CRM systems.
• Provide input on business development strategies and marketing initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of UAE experience in IT‑sales.
• Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven lead generation and prospecting abilities.
• Experience in B2B technology or software solutions, preferably within logistics, shipping or trading.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Fluent English; additional regional language skills are a plus.
