Business & Economics Teacher – High School (August 2027)

About the role

We are seeking experienced High School Business & Economics teachers to join Dubai American Academy (DAA) from August 2027. DAA is GEMS Education’s flagship American‑curriculum school, accredited by CIS, NEASC and authorised to deliver the IB Diploma Programme.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Business & Economics lessons aligned with the American and IB curricula.
• Design and implement inquiry‑based learning activities that develop critical thinking.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learner needs.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and school initiatives.
• Participate in parent‑teacher conferences and communicate student progress.
• Contribute to extracurricular and enrichment programmes.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Education or a relevant degree with a teaching qualification (PGCE, State License, etc.) specialising in Business or Economics.
• Proven experience teaching Business or Economics at the high‑school level, preferably within an American or IB curriculum.
• Strong understanding of inquiry‑based and experiential learning approaches.
