Lead Faculty – Technology & AI

About the role

NextWave is looking for a Lead Faculty to set the academic and technical standard of its twelve‑week Technology & AI programme in Dubai. You will combine teaching, mentoring, assessment and faculty leadership across three pathways: AI Productivity & Content, No‑Code Automation, and AI‑Assisted Product Building.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain technical standards for all three programme pathways.
• Deliver live sessions, build demonstrations and run technical clinics.
• Mentor participants throughout the twelve‑week build, providing evidence‑based feedback.
• Assess submissions against published rubrics, keeping clear audit trails.
• Lead internal verification, sampling and recurring standardisation activities.
• Line‑manage trainers, assessors and mentors, reporting progress, risk and outcomes to the Program Director.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, AI or a closely related field, plus a Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum six years of professional technology delivery experience with people‑development responsibilities.
• At least two recent years of hands‑on work with large language model tooling and no‑code automation platforms.
• Recognised teaching qualification and experience in assessment and internal quality assurance.

Required skills

• Production‑level expertise with Make, Zapier, n8n or equivalent, including exception handling, alerting, permissions, fallback and maintenance.
• Experience with Bubble, Airtable, Retool or similar platforms, covering testing, defect triage, privacy and human‑approval controls.
• Hands‑on use of large language model tooling.
• Proficiency in no‑code automation platforms.
