About the role

We are seeking a motivated Business Editorial Intern to join our editorial team in Dubai. This unpaid position offers hands‑on experience in business journalism, supporting the creation and production of digital content in a fast‑paced media environment.

Key responsibilities

• Research business, industry and market‑related topics.
• Assist writers and editors with article research and fact‑checking.
• Gather relevant statistics and industry insights through online research.
• Identify potential story ideas and emerging business trends.
• Proofread and review articles for grammar, spelling, accuracy and consistency.
• Help prepare and update digital content.
• Monitor business news and developments relevant to the publication.
• Support other editorial tasks and projects as required.

Required profile

• Interest in business, journalism, media, economics or current affairs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good research ability and attention to detail.
• Curious mindset with a willingness to learn.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team.
• Organisational and time‑management skills.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Basic knowledge of Google Workspace.
