Business Partner – Middle East & Africa (Formwork)

About the role

The Business Partner for the Middle East & Africa market unit will support PERI's System Formwork business unit. Reporting to the central function, the role bridges regional market activities with corporate strategy and requires frequent travel across the region and to headquarters.

Key responsibilities

• Drive implementation of the Business Unit strategy in collaboration with regional stakeholders and central functions.
• Identify market opportunities, customer needs and competitive trends to foster sustainable growth.
• Develop and execute go‑to‑market and sales initiatives aligned with the Business Unit plan.
• Act as the primary interface between the Business Unit and the Market Unit, ensuring alignment and effective communication.
• Support local organisations in achieving commercial objectives by spotting improvement opportunities and leading strategic initiatives.
• Monitor business performance, analyse KPIs and provide actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams such as Market Analytics, Product Management and regional leadership.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in the construction industry, including international exposure.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Economics or Commercial Business Administration.
• Proven experience in commercial and sales activities within the construction or supply sectors in the region.
• Deep market knowledge of segments, customers and competition.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to develop long‑term marketing strategies.
• Fluent in English and one local language.

• Technical knowledge of slab and wall formwork products.
