Business Services Team Manager

About the role

Canonical is seeking a Business Services Team Manager to oversee travel, logistics, event coordination, expense policy and procurement across a globally distributed workforce. This senior role combines operational excellence with strategic decision‑making to support large‑scale company events and day‑to‑day business services.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute quarterly global events involving travel for hundreds of employees from 80+ countries.
• Manage travel procurement, visa processing, logistics and contingency handling.
• Oversee expense claim approval, ensuring fairness, transparency and consistency.
• Control budgeting and reporting for tens of millions in operational costs.
• Provide enterprise‑wide executive assistance services, including meeting scheduling, monthly reporting and delegated approvals.
• Coordinate with suppliers, run small projects and initiatives, and maintain rigorous operational standards.
