Chief Executive Director – ITS Mobility Division

About the role

The Chief Executive Director will lead the ITS Mobility Division, overseeing turn‑key delivery, operation and strategic growth of Intelligent Transportation Systems projects across the UAE.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver turn‑key ITS projects for signalized intersections, including hardware, adaptive traffic control software, variable message signs, traffic monitoring and CCTV systems.
• Manage full‑scale ITS deployments for tunnel environments, covering life‑safety critical systems such as public address, access control, over‑height vehicle detection and SCADA.
• Provide operations and maintenance services to ensure system availability, preventive and corrective maintenance, fault response and SLA compliance.
• Deploy communication infrastructure, including network management systems and fiber‑optic networks for field ITS devices.
• Lead major project execution, upgrades, replacements and system enhancement programmes for Abu Dhabi Mobility and other strategic clients.
• Develop new technology and business opportunities in AI‑based detection, smart mobility, V2X/CCAM, digital twins, IoT and smart infrastructure.
• Coordinate with technology partners, OEMs and solution providers to introduce innovative, locally relevant mobility solutions.
• Strengthen client relationships, technical governance, project performance and team capability to support long‑term growth.

Required profile

• Based in the UAE and available to work locally; Emirati nationality is acceptable.
• Proven senior‑level leadership experience, preferably within mobility, transportation, infrastructure or related sectors.
• Strong strategic, operational and commercial leadership capabilities.
• Demonstrated experience in leading large‑scale businesses and teams.
