Business Solutions Manager – Inventory

About the role

As Etihad advances its Journey 2030 commercial transformation, the Business Solutions Manager – Inventory will lead the design and delivery of next‑generation inventory optimisation tools. Based in Abu Dhabi, you will sit at the crossroads of revenue management, technology and data, turning analytical insights into automated commercial solutions for a fast‑growing airline.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the creation and rollout of innovative revenue‑management solutions that improve inventory forecasting, optimisation and availability across the network.
• Identify and automate opportunities within commercial systems, business processes and decision frameworks using advanced analytics and emerging technologies.
• Develop proof‑of‑concept projects and scale successful pilots into production‑ready tools.
• Own the inventory‑related revenue‑management platforms, ensuring continuous evolution aligned with commercial priorities.
• Collaborate with Revenue Management, Commercial, Digital and Technology teams to define requirements and influence product road‑maps.
• Oversee system enhancements, upgrades, testing and releases while minimising operational disruption.
• Monitor performance metrics, user behaviour and forecasting outcomes, providing actionable recommendations to boost commercial results.
• Maintain high standards of data quality, governance and usability across all revenue‑management platforms.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Operations Research, Economics or a related field (MBA advantageous).
• Minimum five years of relevant experience in airline revenue management or a closely related discipline.
• Proven ability to work across commercial and technical teams, influence stakeholders and translate complex business needs into scalable solutions.
• Strong commercial acumen combined with a passion for system improvement and innovation.
