Business Teacher

About the role

Gulf Education is seeking a Business Teacher to deliver high‑school level business studies in Abu Dhabi. The role involves planning lessons, assessing student progress and collaborating with colleagues to enhance the curriculum.

Key responsibilities

• Manage student learning, maintain records and collaborate with other teachers.
• Promote staff development and participate in professional development opportunities.
• Plan, manage and improve learning outcomes for assigned classes.
• Work with Lead Teachers to implement and continuously improve curriculum, teaching, learning and assessment strategies.
• Oversee facilities and activities that support student learning.
• Serve as a role model for behavior, attitudes and learning habits.
• Achieve set learning outcomes and supervise all student activities and processes.
• Develop and maintain teaching materials and support program quality‑assurance processes.
• Liaise with student counselors, communicate progress and performance to students and school management.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of relevant vocational teaching or training experience at high‑school level.
• Bachelor degree in Business Studies or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Computer literate.
• Excellent oral and written English.
• Spoken Arabic skills preferred.
• IELTS 7 Academic for non‑first language English speakers.
