Cardiac Anesthesiologist - Immediate Hiring

About the role

A leading healthcare facility in the UAE is seeking an experienced Cardiac Anesthesiologist to provide specialized anesthesia care for patients undergoing cardiac and major cardiovascular procedures, ensuring patient safety throughout the perioperative period. The position is full-time and on-site.

Key responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care for patients undergoing cardiac and cardiovascular surgeries.
• Conduct comprehensive pre-operative assessments and evaluate cardiovascular risks.
• Administer general and specialized anesthesia during complex cardiac procedures.
• Manage advanced hemodynamic monitoring and intraoperative cardiovascular stability.
• Support cardiopulmonary bypass procedures and manage TEE monitoring where qualified.
• Provide post-operative anesthesia care and support patients in the cardiac ICU.
• Manage perioperative emergencies and anesthesia-related complications.
• Collaborate with cardiac surgeons, perfusionists, intensivists and other healthcare professionals.

Required profile

• MBBS or equivalent primary medical qualification.
• Master's degree, postgraduate specialist qualification, fellowship or equivalent internationally recognized qualification in Anesthesiology.
• Additional fellowship or advanced specialist training in Cardiac Anesthesia.
• Significant experience in cardiac anesthesia and cardiovascular surgical procedures.
• Experience in advanced hemodynamic monitoring, TEE and perioperative critical care is an advantage.
• Strong clinical judgment, teamwork and communication skills.
