About the role
One&Only Resorts is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join the engineering team at One&Only The Palm in Dubai. The role focuses on the repair, maintenance, and fabrication of wooden structures throughout the resort, ensuring all woodwork meets the brand’s high standards of quality and aesthetics.
Key responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance on all wooden elements, including villas, public areas, staff accommodation, and outdoor furniture.
- Execute maintenance requests efficiently, keeping backlogs to a minimum.
- Construct and fabricate new furnishings and in‑house carpentry projects as required.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools, equipment, and the carpentry workshop.
- Report material issues to supervisors and apply new techniques or ideas when appropriate.
Required profile
- Minimum 2 years of experience in furniture carpentry, building, or construction.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills are an advantage.
