Carpenter

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Carpenter to join the maintenance team at Beach Rotana Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for constructing, installing and repairing wooden structures, fixtures and wallboard throughout the hotel, ensuring high standards of quality and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out day‑to‑day maintenance and repair tasks involving carpentry work.
• Construct, fix and replace shelving, cabinets, door locks, windows and glazing.
• Remove damaged sections of wood or wallboard and replace them using hand and power tools.
• Finish surfaces with paint, paneling or other finishes.
• Patch and sand plaster or plasterboard defects.
• Ensure all work complies with local technical regulations and safety standards.

Required profile

• High school qualification or equivalent.
• Proven carpentry skills with experience in building maintenance.
• Good command of English.
• Ability to identify faults and implement corrective actions.
• Self‑motivated, reliable and able to work under pressure.
