Carpenter – Maintenance Team (Full‑Time)

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join the maintenance team at Rotana Hotels in Abu Dhabi. The role involves constructing, installing, and repairing wood, plywood, and wallboard fixtures across our hotel properties, ensuring high standards of safety and guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out day‑to‑day maintenance and repair works of a carpentry nature within the hotel.
• Construct, fix, and replace shelving, cabinets, door locks, windows, and glazing.
• Operate woodworking machinery and power tools to fabricate and install structures.
• Remove damaged sections, repair or replace them using hand tools.
• Finish surfaces with paint, paneling, or other finishing materials.
• Patch and sand plaster or plasterboard defects.
• Ensure all work complies with local technical regulations and safety standards.

Required profile

• High school qualification with solid carpentry experience.
• Good knowledge of building maintenance, workplace safety, and safe lifting procedures.
• Proficient in English with the ability to identify and rectify faults.
• Self‑motivated, proactive, and able to work under pressure in a busy hotel environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a flexible, hands‑on approach.
