Cash Control Accountant

About the role

Miral Experiences is seeking a Cash Control Accountant to oversee daily cash operations and ensure accurate financial reporting across its leisure facilities in Abu Dhabi. The role works closely with finance, operations, and banking partners to maintain robust cash controls.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily cash handling activities and monitor cash movements.
• Prepare cash replenishment requests, update foreign currency rates, and post cash‑related journal entries.
• Produce weekly and monthly cash and sales reports, analyse variances and follow up with department supervisors.
• Coordinate with banks on cash‑related matters and resolve discrepancies with internal teams.
• Support month‑end closing, balance‑sheet schedules and internal/external audit documentation.

Required profile

• Higher secondary qualification or diploma; Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of finance, accounting or banking experience, including at least 3 years supervising cash‑handling staff.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to work under pressure and maintain confidentiality.

• Oracle (Cash Management and AP modules).
• OMNI and InfoGenesis systems.
• Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams.
