A supermarket in Dubai is seeking an experienced cashier to handle customer purchases, manage payment transactions, and ensure a smooth checkout experience. The role requires accuracy, responsibility, and the ability to work in a fast‑paced retail environment.

Key responsibilities

• Process customer purchases and handle billing transactions accurately.
• Operate POS systems for cash, card, and other payment methods.
• Manage daily cash‑handling activities and maintain transaction accuracy.
• Provide friendly and efficient customer service at the checkout counter.
• Assist customers with enquiries and support a positive shopping experience.
• Maintain proper transaction records and follow cash‑handling procedures.
• Keep the checkout area organized and efficient.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a cashier, preferably in a supermarket or retail environment.
• Familiarity with POS systems, billing procedures, and cash/card transactions.
• Good communication and customer‑service skills.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and responsibility.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced retail environment.
• Immediate availability preferred; candidates with their own visa are favored.
• Preference for Nepali nationals as stated by the employer.
