About the role
The Head of Procurement will steer the organisation’s strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations and procurement policy, driving cost optimisation and contract standardisation across projects, operations and services.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement frameworks that ensure transparency, compliance and value creation.
- Lead strategic sourcing initiatives and negotiate with suppliers to achieve cost savings.
- Collaborate with operations, finance and legal teams to align procurement with business requirements.
- Manage senior procurement professionals and influence enterprise‑wide purchasing decisions.
- Monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvement.
Required profile
- Extensive senior procurement leadership experience in large or project‑driven organisations.
- Strong background in strategic sourcing and supplier negotiations.
- Proven experience in the UAE or GCC markets.
- Commercial acumen, governance discipline and ability to influence cross‑functional stakeholders.
- Professional procurement qualifications (e.g., CPM, CIPS) are advantageous.
