Category Management Trainee – Faces

About the role

The Category Management Trainee – Faces will support supply chain, ecommerce coordination, assortment planning, floor‑plan activation, accounting liaison and brand expansion activities within Chalhoub Group’s luxury retail business.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct weekly 1:1 calls to oversee new brand and novelty trackers, ensuring timely launches and ecommerce updates.
• Perform regular assortment checks and stock‑on‑hand analyses, collaborating on activation planning and promotional stock management.
• Update floor plans and planograms, engage in category negotiations and follow up on activations and discounts.
• Address accounting queries, liaise between suppliers and finance, and track payment closures.
• Support brand expansion projects, coordinate demand and assortment planning, and carry out weekly competitive analysis.

Required profile

• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with MS Office.
• Previous retail or category experience is a plus.
• Fluent in English and Arabic.
• Ability to commute to the Jebel Ali office.
