Category Manager – Retail Products

About the role

AM PM is seeking an experienced Category Manager to lead a product category in Dubai. You will own the category strategy, drive product lifecycle management and deliver commercial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the category and product strategy for the assigned territory.
• Define product positioning, value proposition, pricing policy and assortment strategy based on market needs.
• Analyze consumer demand, market trends and competitors to identify new opportunities.
• Manage the assortment matrix for short‑ and long‑term perspectives.
• Oversee product lifecycle, including launches and phase‑outs.
• Formulate product requirements and market requests for the territory.
• Optimize product cost, profitability and monitor key commercial KPIs such as revenue, margin, sales and inventory turnover.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to drive category development and performance.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in Category Management, Product Management or a similar commercial role.
• Experience with retail products and end‑consumer markets.
• Strong analytical and commercial skills, with a results‑oriented mindset.
• Fluent English and strong communication abilities.
