Category Manager (Temporary Contract) – Faces

About the role

Chalhoub Group is seeking a Category Manager on a temporary contract to lead the Faces portfolio. You will shape the product offering, purchasing strategy and promotional plans for luxury fashion and beauty categories across its Dubai stores.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive the offer and purchasing strategy for assigned product categories and brands.
• Develop the department’s business plan aligned with brand strategic objectives.
• Set performance targets, monitor progress and ensure alignment with overall brand goals.
• Oversee department operations, foster teamwork and maintain high‑performance standards.
• Manage the yearly budget, control expenditures and optimise resource use.
• Design store offer strategies that reflect brand values and obtain validation from senior leadership.
• Negotiate annual commercial agreements and advertising space with brands.

Required profile

• Proven experience in category management within luxury retail or related sectors.
• Strong analytical, budgeting and negotiation capabilities.
• Ability to develop business plans and monitor departmental performance.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with a focus on delivering results.
