Center Manager – Center for Brain and Health (Fixed‑Term)

About the role

The Center Manager will support the day‑to‑day operations of NYU Abu Dhabi’s Center for Brain and Health, the Precision Medicine Aspire Research Institute and the Rokers Vision Lab. Reporting to the Center Director, the role ensures smooth administrative, financial and project workflows across research and academic activities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead project management for ADPMARI, CBH and ad‑hoc initiatives, defining scope, schedule, costs and risks.
• Organise requirements‑gathering sessions and maintain detailed project plans and dashboards.
• Coordinate communication with university partners, industry collaborators and internal stakeholders.
• Facilitate regular progress meetings, prepare reports and presentations for faculty and principal investigators.
• Oversee financial administration, budgeting and resource allocation for the centers.
• Maintain documentation, databases and repositories to ensure compliance with university policies.
• Monitor milestones and deliverables, adjusting plans to keep projects on track.
• Provide high‑level administrative support to senior leadership and research teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience in operations or project management within an academic or research environment.
• Strong understanding of university policies, procedures and financial processes.
• Excellent organizational, analytical and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Ability to handle multiple concurrent projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills in English.
