Certified Drone Operator – Drone Cleaning Technician

About the role

Our client is looking for a Certified Drone Operator to carry out drone‑based cleaning operations across various project sites in Abu Dhabi. You will operate commercial drones equipped with cleaning systems to maintain building facades, glass, solar panels, roofs and other exterior structures while adhering to strict safety and operational standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate drone cleaning systems safely, conducting pre‑flight and post‑flight inspections.
• Perform cleaning of facades, glass, solar panels, roofs and other exterior surfaces.
• Monitor weather and site conditions, follow approved flight plans and SOPs, and keep accurate flight logs.
• Carry out site inspections, risk assessments and coordinate with clients, consultants and site representatives.
• Establish safety zones, obtain necessary permits and ensure compliance with HSE procedures.
• Inspect, maintain and troubleshoot drones, batteries, controllers, pumps, hoses and related accessories.
• Complete daily operational reports, flight logs, before‑and‑after photographs and service completion documentation.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Aviation, Mechanical, Electrical or related field (preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of commercial drone operating experience.
• Experience with drone‑based façade or high‑rise cleaning, industrial drone operations or pressure‑washing equipment is an advantage.
• Valid UAE driving licence (advantageous).
