Planning Engineer (UAE National) – Abu Dhabi

About the role

Parsons is seeking a Planning Engineer (UAE National) to join its Abu Dhabi team, supporting the Stormwater DMT Technical Advisory Program. The role involves working on projects that improve stormwater networks, pumping stations, outfalls, and overall infrastructure resilience.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, update, and maintain project schedules for stormwater advisory assignments, prepare status reports, identify variances and risks, and coordinate with engineering and project management teams.
• Assist in cost control activities, prepare cost reports, perform arithmetic and consistency checks, and create graphs and presentations for internal reporting.
• Implement project‑controls procedures, maintain organized records of schedules and reports, and perform other related duties as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental or Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a closely related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 0–1 years of experience in project controls, planning/scheduling, or construction/infrastructure projects; fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with scheduling tools such as Primavera P6 or MS Project.
• Strong analytical and numerical abilities for data checking and reporting.
