About the role

The Apsley at Kimpton Sevn Dubai is a pre‑opening contemporary dining concept that blends British aristocratic elegance with European bistro warmth. We are seeking a Chef de Cuisine to bring this vision to life, overseeing the kitchen from breakfast through dinner and ensuring a refined yet approachable experience for guests.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily kitchen operations for all service periods, maintaining high standards of food preparation, presentation, and service.
• Execute contemporary British and Mediterranean‑inspired menus with precision and consistency.
• Manage and develop a professional kitchen brigade, including performance monitoring and succession planning.
• Collaborate with the Cluster Director of Culinary to align culinary execution with the brand’s heritage and innovation goals.
• Ensure operational excellence, cost control, and adherence to health and safety regulations.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading a high‑end restaurant kitchen, preferably in a pre‑opening environment.
• Strong culinary craftsmanship with a focus on British and European cuisine.
• Demonstrated ability to inspire, train, and retain a skilled kitchen team.
• Commitment to delivering consistent, high‑quality dishes across all service periods.
