Chef de Partie – Asian Specialty

About the role

The Aloft Abu Dhabi hotel is seeking a motivated Chef de Partie to lead the Asian Specialty station. You will prepare and present high‑quality Asian dishes, support the kitchen team, and ensure consistency with the hotel’s culinary standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook Asian menu items according to recipes, quality and presentation standards.
• Regulate temperature of ovens, broilers, grills and roasters; monitor food logs and portion control.
• Thaw and store ingredients safely, maintain cold‑food preparation areas.
• Communicate with service staff about menu specials, out‑of‑stock items and excess food for daily specials.
• Assist in hiring, training, scheduling and coaching junior kitchen staff.
• Follow all safety, security and hygiene policies; report maintenance or safety issues promptly.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar culinary role, preferably within a hotel or upscale restaurant.
• Technical or vocational culinary education preferred.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment and stand for extended periods.
• Strong communication skills and a professional appearance.

Required skills

• Proficiency in operating ovens, grills, broilers and roasters.
• Knowledge of Asian cuisine techniques and flavor profiles.
• Food safety and hygiene certification or equivalent experience.
