Chef de Partie – Cold Kitchen (Hotel)

About the role

The InterContinental Ras Al Khaimah Mina Al Arab Resort & Spa is a luxury beachfront resort offering refined yet relaxed experiences. We are seeking a Chef de Partie for the Cold Kitchen to create memorable cold dishes, uphold high culinary standards, and support the overall kitchen operation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare daily mise‑en‑place and cold food production across main kitchen and satellite stations.
• Coordinate tasks with the Sous Chef or Executive Chef and follow their instructions.
• Maintain consistent quality and stay updated on new products, recipes, and techniques.
• Lead and instruct sub‑ordinates in food preparation, buffet set‑up, and special functions.
• Manage cleanliness, waste reduction, and cost control within the cold kitchen.
• Consult on daily requirements, last‑minute events, and function specifications.
• Train and motivate team members to ensure an efficient and economical working environment.

Required profile

• Proven experience working in a cold kitchen environment, preferably in a hotel or resort setting.
• Ability to coordinate with senior chefs and follow detailed instructions.
• Strong leadership skills to guide and train junior kitchen staff.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and presentation.
• Awareness of cost control and waste management practices.
