Chef de Partie – Continental Cuisine

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Chef de Partie to join the culinary team at Novotel & Ibis Abu Dhabi Gate Hotel. The successful candidate will specialise in Continental cuisine and ensure the highest standards of preparation, presentation and service across all food and beverage outlets.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise, coordinate and actively participate in the preparation of mise en place for all F&B outlets.
• Control freshness, preparation techniques and storage of all ingredients.
• Check personal hygiene and compliance of Demi Chefs and Commis Chefs on the section.
• Assist the Chef de Cuisine in developing new recipes and menu ideas.
• Manage daily inventory, order and turnover of products for the section.
• Oversee cooking procedures, portioning, garnishing and presentation of dishes.
• Maintain effective communication with colleagues from other departments.
• Set work rosters and allocate tasks in consultation with the Sous‑Chef.
• Uphold the highest standards of guest care, personal hygiene and health‑and‑safety practices.

Required profile

• Minimum 2‑4 years experience in a 5‑star hotel kitchen.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Commitment to exceeding guest expectations.
• Good knowledge of hotel facilities and ability to answer guest queries promptly.
• Consistent personal grooming and adherence to hygiene standards.
• Responsibility for health and safety compliance.
