Chef de Partie – Hot Kitchen (Mediterranean Cuisine)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Chef de Partie to join the hot kitchen of our Novotel hotel in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on Mediterranean cuisine, delivering high‑quality dishes while supporting the overall kitchen operation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and present a wide range of Mediterranean dishes according to standard recipes.
• Coordinate daily service with the Sous Chef and Head Chef to ensure smooth kitchen flow.
• Manage mise‑en‑place for current and upcoming service periods.
• Supervise and mentor junior kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to hygiene standards.
• Monitor inventory, request supplies, and maintain proper stock rotation, labeling and dating.
• Assist in developing menu items for themed nights, promotions and special events.
• Handle customer feedback and resolve complaints in line with service standards.

Required profile

• Passion for Mediterranean cuisine and proven experience in a hot‑kitchen environment.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and maintain consistency.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety and hygiene.
• Good communication skills to collaborate with the culinary team.
