Chef De Partie – In‑Room Dining

About the role

The Sheraton Dubai is seeking an experienced Chef De Partie to lead the In‑Room Dining kitchen. You will ensure high‑quality food presentation, supervise kitchen staff, and support seamless service for guests staying in the hotel.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate cooks and kitchen workers, ensuring proper portioning, garnish, and decorative displays.
• Monitor food preparation quantities and maintain stock levels of kitchen supplies.
• Communicate menu specials and out‑of‑stock items to Food & Beverage service staff.
• Prepare special meals or substitute items as required.
• Assist cooks with tasks, provide needed items, and maintain kitchen logs for the food safety program.
• Support management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, and coaching team members.
• Follow all company safety, security, and uniform policies; report maintenance or safety issues.
• Address guest service needs with professional communication.

Required profile

• Technical, trade or vocational school degree in culinary arts or related field.
• 4–6 years of relevant culinary experience.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a hotel or similar environment.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift and carry objects up to 25 lb without assistance.
