Chef de Partie – Pastry

About the role

Park Hyatt Dubai is looking for a motivated Chef de Partie – Pastry to join its award‑winning culinary team. You will support the efficient operation of the pastry department, delivering high‑quality desserts that reflect Hyatt International’s brand standards and exceed guest expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the assigned pastry station, ensuring consistent preparation and presentation of all products.
• Maintain strict adherence to hygiene, safety, and quality standards throughout the kitchen.
• Collaborate with the Pastry Sous Chef and other team members to develop and execute menu items that align with the outlet’s concept.
• Monitor inventory, assist with ordering, and ensure proper storage of ingredients.
• Train and mentor junior staff, fostering a professional and courteous service environment.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience as Chef de Partie in pastry, or 3‑4 years as Demi Chef de Partie/Commis in a hotel or large restaurant.
• Experience with luxury international brands is preferred.
• Relevant qualification in Kitchen Production or Management is an advantage.
• Comprehensive knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices and occupational health and safety standards.
