About the role

The Chef Educator will join ABA Academy UAE to deliver high‑quality culinary education across bakery, pastry, bread, chocolate and ice‑cream disciplines. You will design engaging learning experiences, mentor students, assess competencies and ensure training aligns with international standards and emerging trends.

Key responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver professional courses, workshops, masterclasses and certification programs for bakery, pastry, bread, chocolate and ice‑cream.
  • Provide both practical and theoretical training that meets academy objectives and industry standards.
  • Facilitate hands‑on learning, adapting teaching methods to different learner levels.
  • Demonstrate techniques while maintaining high standards of execution, professionalism and classroom management.
  • Develop and continuously improve training materials, lesson plans, assessments and educational resources.
  • Design programs that reflect industry trends, innovation and market needs.
  • Assess learner progress, give feedback, coach and support development opportunities.
  • Ensure training kitchens, classrooms, equipment, ingredients and resources are prepared and maintained for each session.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, technologies and best practices to enhance training quality.
  • Build relationships with industry professionals and represent the academy at events, competitions and promotional activities.
  • Maintain compliance with hygiene, health & safety and academy standards.
  • Support academy growth initiatives, learner experience enhancement, recruitment activities and customized corporate training programs.

Required profile

  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience in culinary instruction and facilitation.
  • Ability to develop curricula and lesson plans.
  • Proven student coaching and mentoring capabilities.
  • Effective assessment and feedback techniques.
  • Expertise in bakery and bread production.
  • Proficiency in pastry and chocolate applications.
  • Creativity and innovation in culinary education.
  • Excellent planning and organizational abilities.
  • Continuous learning mindset.
