Chief Information Security Officer (CISO)

About the role

We are seeking a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to lead the cybersecurity strategy for a large, diversified family group operating across retail, real estate, technology, automotive, and F&B sectors. This senior role reports directly to the leadership team and is responsible for turning security into a strategic advantage.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver a group‑wide cybersecurity strategy and operating model aligned with business priorities.
• Establish governance, policies, standards, and security architecture across multiple business units.
• Lead cyber risk management: identify, quantify, prioritize, and drive remediation with measurable outcomes.
• Build and mature incident response, crisis management, and cyber‑resilience capabilities.
• Strengthen third‑party and supply‑chain security for vendors and outsourced services.
• Oversee security tooling and capabilities (SOC, SIEM, EDR, IAM, DLP, vulnerability management, cloud security) with a focus on ROI.
• Partner with technology and business leaders to enable secure transformation of cloud, applications, data, and enterprise platforms.
• Drive security awareness and embed a security‑first culture across the organization.
• Lead, mentor, and scale a high‑performing security team, including internal staff and managed partners.

Required profile

• Senior security leader with executive presence and hands‑on credibility.
• Proven ability to translate risk into business decisions and drive results.
• Experience influencing senior leadership and shaping security maturity at enterprise scale.
• Strong communication skills to convey complex security concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
