Senior Technical Project Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager to lead complex technical programmes in a dynamic environment. The role involves overseeing end‑to‑end delivery, coordinating with technical specialists, and ensuring projects meet security and resilience objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the full lifecycle of technical projects, focusing on security research and testing in a telecom context.
• Manage project scope, budgets, schedules, risks, dependencies and quality to achieve successful outcomes.
• Lead Agile delivery squads, facilitating sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand‑ups, reviews and retrospectives.
• Drive transparent planning and continuous improvement using Agile tools and practices.
• Maintain project governance, reporting, RAID logs and delivery plans.
• Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts and change requests to ensure value for money.
• Coordinate stakeholders across multiple workstreams and ensure effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives across projects and delivery processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering complex technical, infrastructure, engineering, IT, cloud or digital transformation projects.
• Strong project management expertise in planning, estimation, budgeting, scheduling, governance and risk management.
• Experience leading Agile delivery teams and embedding Agile ways of working.
• Ability to quickly grasp technical concepts and work effectively with highly technical teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills.
