Chief Technology Officer – Fintech, Dubai

About the role

We are seeking a Chief Technology Officer to lead and scale a fast‑growing fintech platform in Dubai. Reporting to the CEO, you will shape technology strategy, ensure regulatory readiness and drive innovation across card issuing, payments and cloud services.

Key responsibilities

• Define and communicate a technology vision aligned with business goals.
• Partner with Product to prioritize roadmaps and deliver market‑focused solutions.
• Build and lead a high‑performing engineering organisation, including engineers, data scientists and architects.
• Own the technology stack, architecture, cloud infrastructure and ensure scalability, security and high availability.
• Lead cybersecurity initiatives: SIEM, SOC, DLP, EDR/XDR, vulnerability management and incident response.
• Manage compliance with ISO 27001, PCI DSS, SOC 2 and local regulations.
• Drive adoption of agentic AI to improve productivity across technology operations.
• Oversee technology budget, vendor selection and contract negotiations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field.
• 8+ years in senior technology leadership within fintech, with hands‑on experience integrating Visa and Mastercard APIs.
• Proven track record scaling secure, compliant production systems and leading engineering teams.
• Deep knowledge of card issuing, acquiring, banking products and regulatory requirements.

What we offer

• Salary AED 60,000 – 75,000 per month
• Equity participation through an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP)
