Chinese & English Speaking Sourcing Agent / Translator

About the role

Jackpot Technologies LLC is seeking a bilingual Chinese‑English Sourcing Agent / Translator to act as the bridge between its UAE team and Chinese manufacturers. You will support procurement activities, manage supplier relationships, and ensure clear communication across languages.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate Chinese manufacturers, suppliers, and service providers using platforms such as Alibaba, 1688, Taobao and WeChat.
• Obtain quotations, specifications, samples, and production timelines; compare offers on price, quality and reliability.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, MOQs and delivery schedules, and coordinate orders from quotation to shipment.
• Maintain organized records of suppliers, quotations, contracts and ongoing negotiations.
• Translate written documents (quotations, contracts, invoices, product specs) and provide real‑time interpretation during calls and meetings.
• Facilitate logistics coordination for shipments from China to the UAE.
• Build and sustain strong relationships with key suppliers, monitor deadlines and resolve any quality or delivery issues.

Required profile

• Fluent or native‑level Mandarin Chinese and strong professional English (written and spoken).
• Commercially minded with solid negotiation skills.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented and able to manage multiple supplier projects simultaneously.
• Understanding of business practices and cultural nuances in both China and the UAE.

Required skills

• Experience using Chinese sourcing platforms (Alibaba, 1688, Taobao, WeChat).
• Proficiency in translation of business documents between Mandarin and English.
• Knowledge of procurement processes, supplier verification and risk mitigation.
