Civil Draftsman – AutoCAD & Civil 3D Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Civil Draftsman to support our client’s construction and contracting projects in Dubai. The role involves creating accurate 2D and 3D drawings that translate engineering concepts into detailed design documents.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare 2D and 3D civil engineering drawings using AutoCAD, Civil 3D and related software.
• Develop site layouts, grading plans, road profiles, utility layouts and structural details.
• Collaborate with civil engineers, architects and project managers to gather design specifications and resolve issues.
• Revise drawings based on feedback and ensure compliance with local codes and standards.
• Maintain organized drawing files and documentation according to company procedures.
• Conduct site visits when required to collect data or verify measurements.
• Assist in quantity take‑offs and preparation of bills of materials.

Required profile

• Diploma or certification in Civil Drafting, Civil Engineering Technology or a related field.
• Proven experience as a civil draftsman or in a similar drafting role.
• Strong understanding of civil engineering concepts, construction processes and local building regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy and ability to meet deadlines.
