Civil Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a qualified Civil Engineer to join our team in Dubai, responsible for designing and overseeing civil engineering projects from concept to completion. The role involves close collaboration with clients, contractors and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design detailed plans and blueprints for civil engineering projects.
• Oversee construction operations and maintenance activities.
• Conduct technical assessments to evaluate project feasibility and sustainability.
• Ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations and standards.
• Analyze survey reports and data to inform project planning.
• Consult with clients, contractors and stakeholders regarding project details and progress.
• Manage project budgets, resource allocation and timelines.
• Review technical documentation and make necessary adjustments.
• Resolve design and development issues throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide technical advice and support to engineering teams.
• Participate in field inspections to verify construction quality.
• Prepare detailed documentation and reports for management review.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Minimum two years of experience in civil or structural engineering.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license or actively pursuing licensure.
• Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and project management.
• Effective communication skills for coordinating with multiple stakeholders.

Required skills

• Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software.
• Experience with engineering analysis tools.
