Civil Engineer

About the role

Emirald Contracting LLC is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to supervise daily construction and site activities in Dubai. The role involves ensuring that all work aligns with approved drawings, specifications, and local regulations while coordinating closely with consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily construction and site activities, ensuring compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain project flow.
• Arrange and follow up on site inspections and obtain necessary approvals.
• Monitor progress, quality, material usage, and manpower deployment.
• Prepare detailed site reports and required documentation.
• Ensure adherence to Dubai Municipality (DM) requirements and safety standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• 5–10 years of UAE construction/contracting experience.
• Dubai Municipality (DM) G+1 Approved Engineer – mandatory.
• Valid UAE driving license.
• Strong knowledge of civil construction, site supervision, and UAE construction standards.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.

Required skills

• DM G+1 Approved Engineer certification.
• Valid UAE driving license.
