Superintendent – Lifting Operations (UAE)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated and hands‑on Superintendent – Lifting Operations to support our Technical Manager within the Crane Division. This position is ideal for a candidate looking to further develop their career in lifting operations, crane engineering, and technical fleet support.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Technical Manager in the daily coordination of crane operations and technical activities.
• Assist in the preparation and review of lifting plans, rigging arrangements, and crane selection for projects.
• Coordinate crane inspections, certifications, and maintenance activities to ensure fleet readiness.
• Monitor the condition and performance of lifting equipment and report technical concerns.
• Support troubleshooting and follow‑up of mechanical and operational issues in cooperation with technical teams.
• Conduct site visits to verify lifting requirements and support project execution.
• Ensure lifting operations are carried out in accordance with company procedures, UAE regulations, and international standards.
• Support planning and coordination of major mobilizations and demobilizations.
• Identify opportunities for operational improvements and increased equipment utilization.
• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure adherence to QHSE requirements at all times.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related technical discipline.
• LEEA certification or lifting‑related certifications are considered an advantage.
• Good understanding of crane operations, lifting equipment, and rigging practices.
• Ability to interpret lifting plans, load charts, technical drawings, and engineering documentation.
• Strong organizational and coordination skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and project‑driven environment.
• Willingness to travel to project sites across the UAE and Middle East when required.
