Civil Inspector – Infrastructure & Utilities

About the role

Parsons is seeking a Civil Inspector to join its construction supervision team on a large‑scale metro project in Dubai. The role involves overseeing infrastructure and utilities works, ensuring compliance with design and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Construction and maintenance of roads, curbs, gutters, sidewalks and landscaping.
• Drainage, utilities installation, traffic control and lighting works.
• Installation of electrical equipment for traffic signals, ramp metering and street lighting.
• Irrigation, planting, and removal/installation of roadway and overhead signs.
• Installation of temporary and permanent signs and road delineation.
• Building and facility construction, including site development activities.
• Daily photographic documentation of project progress.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience supervising infrastructure projects such as road works and utilities.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction specifications.
• Strong analytical abilities and capacity to work independently.
