Civil Inspector – Wet Utilities (Abu Dhabi)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Civil Inspector to oversee wet utilities construction on infrastructure projects in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on stormwater, sewerage, potable water and irrigation networks, ensuring compliance with design and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect and monitor construction of stormwater pipelines, manholes, catch basins, gullies and related drainage structures.
• Verify installation of sewerage, potable water and irrigation pipelines and associated works.
• Review Inspection Requests, monitor material quality, workmanship, bedding, backfilling and compaction.
• Witness and document testing activities such as pressure testing, leakage testing and CCTV inspections.
• Ensure works comply with approved drawings, specifications, method statements and ITPs, and coordinate corrective actions for non‑conformities.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Proven experience in wet utilities and infrastructure construction, especially stormwater works.
• Familiarity with UAE infrastructure authorities and local construction standards preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and effective communication with engineers and contractors.
