Civil Purchaser – Construction Procurement (Dubai)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Civil Purchaser to manage the procurement of civil, structural and finishing materials for high‑rise building projects in Dubai. The role involves close collaboration with project, planning, engineering and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of compliant materials.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end procurement of civil, structural and finishing materials.
• Verify that all materials meet project specifications, approvals and consultant requirements.
• Conduct technical and commercial evaluations of suppliers and subcontractors.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms and delivery schedules to support project timelines.
• Coordinate with project, planning, engineering and logistics teams.
• Maintain supplier relationships and update the Approved Vendor List.
• Issue purchase orders, track orders and keep procurement records, preferably using Oracle ERP.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying or Supply Chain.
• 5–7 years of UAE construction procurement experience, preferably on high‑rise residential or mixed‑use projects.
• Strong knowledge of UAE suppliers, vendors and market trends.
• Familiarity with commercial and contractual terms; FIDIC knowledge is an advantage.
