Civil Site Engineer – Construction Projects

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Civil Site Engineer to oversee daily construction activities on our projects in Dubai and the surrounding UAE region. The role involves ensuring that all works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards and project schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor daily construction activities on site.
• Verify that work execution follows approved drawings, specifications and project requirements.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, supervisors, foremen and site workers to maintain smooth progress.
• Review and interpret construction drawings, layouts and technical documents.
• Conduct regular site inspections, enforce quality standards and HSE requirements.
• Check delivered materials for compliance with specifications.
• Prepare daily progress reports, site records and work updates.
• Assist in quantity measurements, material estimation and documentation.
• Identify site issues and propose technical solutions.
• Monitor manpower productivity and resource utilization.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 1–2 years of experience as a Civil Site Engineer on construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials and site execution.
• Ability to read and interpret civil drawings and specifications.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple site activities.
• UAE construction experience preferred; valid UAE driving licence is an advantage.
