Cladder – Skilled Metal Cladding Technician

About the role
The Cladder is a skilled trade professional responsible for installing a variety of metal products on construction sites. Working within a team and reporting to the Supervisor, the role ensures tasks are completed safely, on time, and to specification.
Key responsibilities
- Set up and operate cladding equipment and powered lift devices.
- Fit, join, and install sheet metal parts according to approved codes and specifications.
- Erect scaffolding to provide safe access for work at heights.
- Perform related tasks as assigned by the Workshop or Project Manager.
Required profile
- Minimum 2 years of cladding experience with a high school diploma or cladding certificate.
- Ability to work safely at heights and follow extensive safety policies.
- Strong communication skills and capability to instruct apprentices.
Required skills
- Operation of cladding‑related equipment.
- Sheet metal fitting and joining techniques.
- Scaffolding setup and safe height work.
- Use of powered lift equipment.
