About the role
We are seeking a Classroom Assistant to join Yas American Academy, part of Aldar Academies, in Abu Dhabi. This full‑time, term‑time position supports teachers and students in delivering a British curriculum with an international dimension. The role contributes to the school’s commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Key responsibilities
- Assist teachers with daily classroom activities and lesson preparation.
- Support students’ learning, wellbeing, and classroom management.
- Help maintain a safe and organized classroom environment.
- Assist with administrative tasks related to classroom operations.
Required profile
- Valid resident visa (spouse or father sponsorship).
- Minimum qualification: A‑Levels or NVQ.
- Excellent command of English, good literacy and numeracy skills.
- Flexible, proactive, able to prioritize tasks, enthusiastic, resilient and patient.
- Team‑player with ability to work flexibly.
Required skills
- IT skills (desirable).
- First aid training (advantage).
