Classroom Assistant – Immediate Start at Al Ghad Charter School

About the role

Aldar Education is seeking a Personalised Learning Specialist (Classroom Assistant) to join Al Ghad Charter School in Abu Dhabi, with an immediate start. The role supports individual students and small groups during lessons and intervention sessions, delivering subject‑specific support to improve academic progress.

Key responsibilities

• Support individual students and small groups during lessons and structured intervention sessions, both inside and outside the classroom.
• Deliver subject‑specific interventions (e.g., English, Maths, Science, Arabic) in collaboration with teaching staff to help students make measurable academic progress.
• Observe, monitor and report on student progress, identifying areas for improvement and contributing to planning and review discussions.
• Liaise with subject teachers and leaders to ensure intervention content aligns with curriculum objectives and student needs.
• Coordinate the work of other support staff where applicable to achieve shared intervention goals.
• Maintain a safe, respectful and inclusive learning environment in line with school policies on health, safety, behaviour and safeguarding.

Required profile

• Minimum bachelor’s degree with subject specialization (or High School Diploma for UAE nationals).
• Demonstrated appreciation for the culture, traditions and values of the region and alignment with the school’s EPIC values.
• Strong English language skills (or the language used in the school curriculum) and ability to work collaboratively with teachers.
