Classroom Assistant (UAE Nationals) – Immediate Start

About the role

The school is seeking UAE National Classroom Assistants to join Abdulla Bin Otaiba Charter School in Abu Dhabi. The role starts immediately and supports teachers in delivering a high‑quality American curriculum to primary‑age learners.

Key responsibilities

• Provide one‑to‑one or small‑group support to pupils inside and outside the classroom.
• Assist with the implementation and monitoring of individual education programmes.
• Support pupils with emotional, behavioural or additional learning needs.
• Maintain pupil records, prepare displays of student work and assist with photocopying.
• Help teachers keep pupils on task, check attendance and supervise during transitions.
• Collaborate with specialists such as speech and occupational therapists.
• Participate in team meetings, health‑and‑safety duties and school‑wide initiatives.

Required profile

• UAE National with at least a secondary school certificate or a bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum two years of experience working in UAE schools.
• Good command of English (or the language used in the school curriculum).
• Professional attitude regarding dress, punctuality and attendance.
