Classroom Assistant – UAE Nationals – Immediate Start

About the role

The school is seeking an enthusiastic UAE National to join the classroom team at Abdulla Bin Otaiba Charter School. The role starts immediately and supports the school’s vision of a sustainable, innovative learning community.

Key responsibilities

• Provide individual and group support to pupils inside and outside the classroom, ensuring full participation in daily activities.
• Assist with health and safety matters and implement individual education programmes.
• Support pupils with additional needs, including emotional and behavioural challenges.
• Help teachers maintain pupil records, prepare displays of student work, and perform photocopying and other administrative tasks.
• Deliver academic assistance such as group instruction, monitoring and correcting work, keeping pupils on task, and reporting progress.
• Supervise pupils, check attendance, and contribute to the development of behaviour policies.
• Collaborate with specialists like speech and occupational therapists as required.
